For my (then non-existing) project Lethe, I was researching around impermanence and fleeting moments. As liquid plastic was poured, a new, unintentional image emerged of the remaining substance dripping into a bowl. A movement was caught in the rapid solidification of the material. I found that interesting because here that exact moment was really translated and captured through the material. This tied in perfectly with my research since it allowed me to truly take my time observing the solidified process.
